Entered on the ground floor into a reception hall with access to a ground floor wet room with shower, easy reach sink and WC with optional toilet frame, seat riser, grab rails and a shower wheelchair all available on request. A large bedroom with king size bed and ample space either side, both of these rooms are suitable for wheelchair users and each has an emergency pull cord system  for alerting other guests.

The hall leads to an open plan living and dining area with comfortable lounge seating, dining table and chairs for 8 and French doors leading to a private patio garden with seating. A modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave has been designed in accordance with the NAS Accessibility standards to achieve category M3(i}, with adjustable height sink and hob and easy reach oven and microwave.

A communal washing room is available for guests a few metres away from the entrance to Pegasus.

A Smart TV linked to the centre’s WIFI provides a wide choice of media entertainment on Freeview and or via Netflix and Amazon using the guest’s personal login to their subscription.

Stairs to the first floor landing off of which there is;

A large master bedroom over 30sqm with king size bed, it’s own Smart TV with Freeview and en-suite shower room with WC.

Two further twin bedrooms and a main bathroom comprising a toilet, wash basin and bath.

Outside at the rear there is a private patio garden accessed through French doors in the lounge/dining area. To the front there is a landscaped quadrangle.

With an ‘eco-friendly’ ethos, the Centre boasts solar water heating, rainwater harvesting and bacteria based waste water treatment plant, which requires the management of the type of washing detergents that can only be used and therefore appropriate washing detergents should be used.

Construction of the property has been completed to an exceptionally high standard with quality fixtures, fittings and furniture throughout. To ensure the safety of our guests an integrated smoke and fire alarm system with emergency lighting is connected throughout all of the accommodation and linked directly to an emergency phone line. For those with hearing difficulties a vibrating pillow can be provided that is linked directly to the fire detection system and for those with hearing difficulties a flashing light will be activated should the alarm be triggered.

Consideration has been given to the needs of those with mobility impairment and construction has been completed using the National Accessible Scheme (NAS) criteria as a guide and this property is comparable to M3(i) standards for accessibility – (Typically suitable for a person who depends on the use of a wheelchair and transfers unaided to and from the wheelchair in a seated position – This person may be an independent traveller).

Parking is available immediately adjacent to Pegasus with a level block paved pathway leading to a low threshold entry.
