Indoor Riding Arena

A 60m x 25m sand school with Fibrewax surface from Day Equestrian. With excellent lighting the arena provides all year round riding into the evenings without the worry of weather conditions.

A separate café overlooks the arena for spectator comfort and by the end of 2021 a fully licensed bar and restaurant with terrace will be open with full spectator viewing.

The arena is also home to our main reception office, a changing spaces accessible toilet facility and a classroom.

GG’s Bar & Restaurant

Opened in July 2022 our bar and restaurant serves a variety of Mediterranean dishes for all ages. Our licensed bar features ales and cocktails which can be enjoyed al-fresco from our large garden and patio areas with a children’s play area and bar games for the ‘older children’.

To book call 01983 219999 or visit www.ggsiow.com

All-weather Outdoor School

Our 60m x 40m sand school with Fibrewax surface from Day Equestrian who provide similar surfaces to Wellington Riding School and The Household Cavalry.

The surface is a combination of Redhill silica sand, stabilising fibre and equestrian wax all of which create a root structure in the surface so horses travel over the surface rather than through it. Together with an excellent drainage system the surface is perfect for year round horse riding and hosts events with a purpose built spectator bank and seating area along one side of the arena. Floodlighting is available for evening riding too!

Children’s Playground

Free to use children’s play area featuring swings, see-saw, climbing frame and slide as well as a football area with goals.

Why not combine with meeting our onsite animals including sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens and of course the horses or a visit to GGs Bar and Restaurant for family specials

On-site Hacking Tracks

We have a number of onsite hacking tracks providing over three miles of safe riding around the perimeter of our site, our hacking tracks are ideal for riders of all levels and a great way to get in the saddle and get some me-time and fresh air.

Charity Cafe

Serving hot and cold drinks including barista coffees as well as ice creams, cakes and confectionary the Bit on the Side cafe is operated by Wight Horse CIC a volunteer operated charity providing free and subsidised horse based activities for children and young adults from less fortunate backgrounds. All profits go straight to the CIC. Visitors can use the onsite children’s playground and meet the animals.          If you are interested in volunteering please contact them on info@wighthorse.co.uk or call in

Self-catering Holiday Accommodation

Our 2, 3 and 4-bedroom self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Wight is perfect for couples, families, groups, schools, riding clubs and non-horse riding guests too!

A choice of ten newly built houses, The Gallops, in an impressive courtyard setting (with one wing created from a barn conversion), each of which can sleep at least six guests, and some of which are suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.

As part of our extensive on site development, a spacious four bedroom / four bathroom bungalow, The Orchard has been renovated to a high specification.

Luxury glamping – safari tents in a gated safari camp

Sitting under the stars next to a firepit and horses ambling around the fields – that’s what you’ll experience when you stay in our spacious safari tents. With all mod cons, real wooden furniture and beds and not one but 2 shower rooms in each tent for that unforgettable glamping holiday.

The kids can run riot while you chill with a cold galss of something – the camp is fully gated and secure.

The camp is available for hire for exclusive use for large group get-togethers (please note this does not include the tents) so if you’re looking to book a bouncy castle or hog roast set in countryside this is the place to gather (covid regulations apply regarding numbers)
